Double base units for the education and health sector.

All our double units are made from a carcass of Ends, rails, bottom and shelf to be constructed of 18mm White melamine faced MDF Board and are edged in 2mm matching PVC.  Backs are made from 6mm melamine faced MDF Board to match.  Carcasses are doweled, pin and cam construction.  Units are fitted with 4 heavy duty adjustable feet. However, Castors or lockable castors can be installed also.  All backs are fully removable for easy access to services.

 

As these double storage units are tailor-made, they can be manufactured to any dimension required and can be made in any of our altofina colours. We also supply double drawerline units and double drawer units.

We also make our double units as sink units where needed. Our standard sink is a

316 Quality stainless steel sink bowl and drainer, Larch fireclay sink (fixed to the underside of worktop) or a Cast epoxy resin sink (REF: SM8). However, We do supply other sinks if required.

 

Our laboratory fixed double units can be made with solid grade 16mm Trespa TopLab Base work surface for laboratories and hospitals or post-formed laminate which may be seen in a school environment.

 

Our Postformed Laminate has a core of 28mm 650kgm-3 high density chipboard, furniture grade, tops are surfaced with a postforming grade laminate from the Formica range of laminates. A suitable balancer is applied to the reverse.  The front edge is postformed to a 12mm radius, single wrap.  Tops are supplied with a matching edging strip.

Our drawer boxes are typically manufactured with drawer sides are Metabox system epoxy coated (RAL 9001 Cream – White) mild steel, mounted on soft rollered runners.  Standard depth is 450mm front to back; drawer base and back are of 18mm white melamine faced chipboard, edged as necessary in 1mm PVC.  Standard drawer sides are 86mm and 135mm.  Capacity 50Kg Static Load, 25Kg Dynamic.

 

Lab UKs doors and drawer fronts are made from 18mm Laminate faced particleboard

(650kgm-3). 3mm PVC lips to all edges. Colours are from the Altofina Plain Colour Laminate.
